Programme Manager

Position: Programme Manager (Aerospace)
Reporting to: Director – Technology Operations
Location: Coventry, West Midlands

Job description

Impression Technologies Limited (ITL) is seeking a Programme Manager to join the team and drive delivery of Aerospace programmes. ITL’s patented HFQ® process has been developed for forming complex parts from aluminium alloys, for various applications including the automotive, aerospace industries. ITL are driven by facilitating lightweight, cost effective and sustainable solutions for future mobility.

Reporting to the Director Technology Operations, this role works closely with all areas of the business to deliver both internal and external projects as part of the Aerospace product portfolio.

The responsibilities for this role include:

  • Development of the project scope to support client programmes.
  • Working closely with commercial, engineering and technology teams to develop delivery plans.
  • Developing appropriate meeting cadence and controls
  • Working effectively with supply chain and scheduling work packages
  • Leading project change management.
  • Maintaining project dashboard of KPIs.
  • Project communication and reporting

The ideal candidate will be confident, self-motivated, adaptable, and a team player who takes responsibility and communicates well across multiple levels internally and externally.

ITL offers a competitive package including hybrid working (minimum 3 days in the office). There is likely to be some national and international travel.

Person specification

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Degree qualified in Engineering or Material Science
  • 5+ years proven track record in delivering technical development projects in the Aerospace sector.
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal, communication and team-working skills.
  • Organised, methodical and self-motivated.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project).
  • Formal project management qualification
  • Member of a professional body (IMechE, IoM3, etc)
